Playoff Games

Higher seed will always be the home team. If the final features a team from each pool, they will be ranked based on the tiebreakers which are listed above

Overtime Rules for Playoff Games

5 Minutes - 3 on 3 if the game is tied after regulation.

If still tied after 3 on 3, there will be a 3 player shootout. Home team will have the choice to shoot first or second. If the teams are still tied after three shooters each, there will be a sudden death shootout. Shooters are only eligible to shoot once until ALL skaters have taken a shot, then players will be eligible to shoot twice.

Suspensions and Disciplinary Decisions - All suspensions will be handled directly by the SISE Referee Academy Director of Player Safety (DOPS). On-site tournament staff will be in contact with the teams to provide transparency.

Mercy Rule - The clock goes to run time when a score is 7+ goals. When the score returns to a 5 goal difference, or smaller, the clock will go back to stop time. Run time will only occur after the first period of play.

Jersey Colors - The Home Team will wear Dark Jerseys and the Away Team will wear Light jerseys at the Pacific Duel

Forfeited Games - If at any point a team fails to play a game or forfeits a game they are scheduled to play, they will forfeit all their teams points up to that point in the tournament and their head coach will be suspended from all games for the remainder of the tournament.
